RSMB is proud to have played our part in making the expansion of the Barb panel to 7,000 homes a success. We worked with Barb, Kantar and Ipsos from early 2023 through to now to deliver the increase in homes required for the Barb 2024 contract.

RSMB's key responsibility was to ensure the expanded panel was representative.

Our role initially consisted of specifying the requirements, advising on the proposed methodologies and providing the recruitment materials for the mixed methodology fieldwork.

Then, throughout fieldwork, RSMB continued to support the process with continuous quality control and panel balance monitoring to determine whether the approach was producing a high quality sample and to determine if the approach used needed to be altered. This work was backed up by clear and regular cross-contractor communication which allowed us to identify any issues and action resolutions quickly.

And of course now the expansion is complete, RSMB's role continues in ensuring that the panel continues to be representative alongside Barb, Ipsos and Kantar, each with a particular role to play.
